Phillips Seeds featured on Lincs FM, Farming Programme - May 2008
Phillips Seeds were recently asked to donate a prize for a competition at the LMR, (Lincolnshire Machinery Ring), networking event at the premises of RW Marsh Ltd at Sleaford. The competition was for members to try and guess how many new members have joined LMR in the last year.
The winner was Mr. Peter Elkington who farms at Roxholm, and is the husband of the Lincs FM, Farming Programme presenter, Sally Elkington, who gave us a mention on her programme.

Phillips Seeds Ltd wins new contract to supply Lincolnshire’s only racecourse with grass seed
Ingham based Phillips Seeds Ltd today announces a contract to provide specialist grass seed for Market Rasen Racecourse.
This marks the business’s 10th contract win in the last month, signifying that rural firms in the area are still prospering despite the nationwide downturn.
Pip Kirkby, managing director at the racecourse, comments: “At Market Rasen we aim to keep our track in the best possible condition. This helps to ensure the safety of our horses and jockeys during the racing season - whatever the Lincolnshire weather brings.
“We wanted to work with a local company that understands the requirements of a racetrack. Phillips Seeds Ltd has provided us with a special mixture of grass seed, tailored for our needs and we’re looking forward to an excellent year of racing ahead.
